Seeing how busy the town of Hua hin was we were glad to find our hotel was in a quieter area of Hua hin, though only about 5 km from the town. The Anantasila is right on the beach. The pool is large and the room was very comfortable. The beach bar is next to the beach and there are loungers under plam tress. When we met some people at a bar in Hua hin ( they were staying in the town ) they were surprised when we told them about where we were staying. I think too many people just stay in the town and do not realise there are these great beach places there also, strange!

You can enjoy the beach and walk to the fishing village and watch the fishing boats go out, there are also watersports there. We loved walking along the beach as the sun went down. Perfect for relaxation but restaurants are walking distance or a short ride away.
