71 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We have stayed here in the past because it is pet friendly. The condition of the rooms has deteriorated over the past couple of years. Our last (definitely) visit was a disaster. The rooms next door and above our room were occupied by "monthly renters" who were drunk, obnoxious and confrontational, using foul language-at six o'clock in the evening. This continued for the next couple of hours, so we complained to the clerk, who was of no assistance. We reloaded our car, passing by these people and their 3 large dogs. Shortly before we left, the police arrived in three cars and things calmed down. The clerk came to our car as we were backing out and appologized. I told him he could reverse the charges and we left.

36 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

It was clean, it was relatively quiet considering that it was full. When we received our credit card statement we found that we had been billed for an extra night. Each time I call to get this resolved, I am told that the only person who can resolve the issue is not there, strangely enough the name and gender of the only person who can resolve it will change depending on who I am talking to. The experience of staying here is not worth the aggravation of getting a simple billing error corrected. The staff is either incompetent or unwilling to help.

40 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The room was nice, the service was good, but there were a few disappointments. The housekeeping staff was inconsistent with their cleaning style/routine. The quality of my room after a make-up varied. Some days were good; the room was cleaned, vacuumed, dusted, etc. On other days, some of those things were overlooked. I understand that there is more than one housekeeper, so I am not holding this against the entire motel itself.

I'd just recommend that the housekeeping staff double-check everything when cleaning.

Also, the website needs to be updated. It was very misleading. There was no "spa" room. I was disappointed. Overall, it was quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing.

35 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business

Their website is misleading. I had to complain twice about the noise. It was clear that some of the rooms are being lived in full time. I seriously considered leaving for another hotel in the middle of the night, but thought I could handle it. The desk attendant was nice, that's why it gets a two. The room was not clean, however, and I could have made a wig out of the hair on the sheets.

I am not likely to return to the Anacortes Inn.
I would not recommend it to friends.

44 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

We stayed here on the way to Victoria. I was extremely disappointed in what I paid and the quality of the room. My teenagers chose to sleep in the van for the night.

I am not likely to return to the Anacortes Inn.
I would not recommend it to friends.
