Whether you are after a family vacation or a romantic weekend, this is the place to go. Having access to the kayaks, canoes, and motorboats is a huge bonus and makes the price well worthwhile. When we needed some down time for a long weekend, this really did the trick for us. It’s cozy, rustic, and convenient to both the town of Lake Placid and Saranac. Lots to do there, movies, bowling, shopping, and restaurants. It’s just a nice place to stay.
