male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
This was one of the most filthy places that I have ever stayed. Kid's socks were black from walking on the floor. Photo's of large spacious "suites" decieving. I-5 to one side, metrolink on the other. Spiderwebs all over the place. Bed hard. Window coverings (you know, the nice paper kind) caked with dust. We checked out the next morning (right after another family did). My rate was $99 for three nights. They would not refund or discount my sleepless night stay, but instead charged me $150.00. Complete rip off. Other hotels in the area for same value. I moved to Courtyard by Marriott in Laguna Hills (10 minutes north) for same rate. TRAVELER BEWARE

Excellent
It was clean and spacious.I had to call for missing supplies and for maintenance. Also door key was not programmed prior to arrival. We had to go back down to get key. Thick walls to block out noise of close traffic and guests in neighboring rooms....

We stayed here with a group attending Rancho Capistrano and will definitely be back. Very close to Freeways, Beach, and Beautiful Rooms. We stayed at upscale properties whose rooms aren't quite as nice.

When they say close to freeways they aren't kidding. I5 out the bedroom window and Hwy73 across the street. Rooms were very small and the paint fumes were awful. Noise level was deafening especially when Amtrak went by at 80mph. Don't bother...

The hotel was located between 2 major highways and Amtrak rail lines and also sandwiched between 2 fast-food joints. The only way I could have been farther from the ocean was for me to have stayed back home in Minnesota. Coupled with the fact that...

Horrible
It was the nastiest, dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Our feet were black from the never-cleaned carpet, the bathtub was falling apart, there were stains on the bedspread. It was disgusting and I had to go to a different hotel the 2nd night.
