45 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I looked on the internet for a medium priced hotel in Waco to meet a friend at. This Hotel was rated better than most on the site I looked at. The room was not clean - especially the towels (they were stained and had suspicious marks on them!), the pool was filthy and green and the hot tub was black. They advertised a coffee pot , (which they had, but no coffee) but it was dirty too. No cups anything in the room. The worse part though was the next morning when I was leaving I went to the office and there were several people there checking out, so I read the brochures for things to do while I was waiting my turn. When it came my turn to check out the girl behind the counter said, "Checkout time is 11:00. I am supposed to charge you for another day." The time was 11:06 and I had been waiting for about 20 minutes to check out. They finally agreed not to charge for the extra day, although I haven't seen my credit card statement. I will not go back. I will tell everyone I know that is traveling not to go there.
