Traveling and being away from home can be stressful. I lucked out by finding a great place to stay, close to where I work and close enough to shopping, movie theaters, and restaurants.
More importantly the staff is customer service oriented. When a recent snow storm went through the area, the hotel staff made sure food was brought in so no one was hungry. They allowed me to use the hotel dryers as I had gotten stuck for over two hours in the snow to dry my coat, mittens, scarf and clothes. The maintenance man helped me get out of the parking lot the next day so I could get to work.
The entire staff truly cares and it is nice to be greeted on your way to breakfast by name. What a great place to stay!
