The hotel had a decent lobby and service. This was probably the highlight of our stay. We had many 'problems' at this hotel. There was no a/c in the room. The nights ended being a very hot, sweaty. The funny part was that the hotel provided a fan which kept falling off every 20mins with a bang. The response to our pleas of help were -- open the door and let the cool air come into the room. What ever happened to privacy, security ? Another reason as to why I was not very willing to open the door was raccoons. Now the night we checked in, I had to park the car a bit farther away. As I approached the hotel building, there was a raccoon which was blocking my passage into the hotel court-yard. I then resorted to jumping on the swimming pool fence. Talking about the swimming pool, I was not sure which decade the pool belonged to. Looked very old and peeling (not appealing!) on the insides. Our bathroom had a leaky faucet which dripped a lot of water on the floor which caused my son to slip and bump his head. Appearance of the hotel stairs was that of a rusted bucket in sea water. Many such problems have prompted me to post this review and offer a very generous '3' rating.
