ONE STAR IS TOO HIGH A RATING!
1) no spa/hot tub (as promised)
2) a broken pool (with no attempt at repair for months)
3) a broken ice machine (so NO ICE)
4) a broken wifi router (so NO INTERNET access at all)
5) a broken air conditioner (so we had to change rooms)
6) a toilet that rocked when you sat down
7) a 7” hole with a long crack in the ceiling
8) a rusted frig
9) holes & stains in the sofa
10) sticky & dirty carpeting
11) oily, oily, oily, polish on the furniture
12) The morning "breakfast" was only coffee & honey buns.
13) The loose phone line (which ran from the bathroom wall next to the light switch, down to the bedside table) had to be walked over to go into the bathroom (this hazard HAS to be a building code violation).
14) The front door to the lobby was always locked (are they THAT WORRIED about being robbed?)
EconoLodge next door (with an indoor pool/spa and breakfast) was running a walk-up $45 special. If I hadn't had reservations at Best Value Inn, I would have gone there.
My daughter says this was FAR WORSE than any motel we’ve ever been in. It cost me $62.70 with tax, and half price would have been too much. This was my first America's Best Value Inn, and it will be my last! NEVER, EVER AGAIN!
