Americas Best Value Inn Gainesville Motel

This is a 1960's style motel; thin walls, door opens to parking lot. Internet and newspaper cost extra. Somebody else's washcloth was still hanging on the back of the bathroom door. A two star rating is generous.

The room was smelly. There was dust under the bed. The bathroom was very outdated. There were mosquitoes in the room. As a last resort I would stay there again. The location was close to University of Florida which was where I was going. The comfort was minimal and no services were provided.

The hospitality at this inn was awesome.

Gainesville's Villager has changed affiliation.

This hotel made me feel inspired: It's nice to be able to sit outside and write by an outdoor pool on a December day in Florida.
