It's very run-down

69 year old male with a moderate budget

Very low scale rating and not as shown no where near what was shown online that the hotel was reated a a 4-star. That is a joke. I was given a key to a room with no lights; I tried several light switches and none resulted in turning on the lights. The odor in the room was very offensive. It appeared to an unsafe environment in a real run down area of Albany. I would not recommend that hotel to anyone.

This is a clean and good quality motel.

I am very likely to return to the Americas Best Value Inn Albany.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
