I stayed at this hotel because it was highly rated in customer service and the staff was allegedly friendly. Those people no longer work there. They were non responsive to questions and barely spoke when asked a question. There was some form of verbal response but I had to ask several times to hear what was being said.
The room was nothing to brag about and anywhere would have been as nice or nicer. Don't waste your time or money here. Their breakfast consisted of little debbie cakes, cheap granola bars, nothing I have ever considered for breakfast.

I travel around through this area with work about 4 times a year. I have seen Americas Best Value Inn many times but this was my first time to stay. I wish I had before. I got a great price and the staff was excellent. When I checked out this morning I spoke with their Guest Relations Rep to give them my compliments and she told me about this site. The room were as nice as some of the higher priced and will return to this place on all my return trips. I enjoyed the pool area.

My sister attends the University close by. I checked out this morning and I had a very good stay. I was checked in at 10:45 p.m. by their Guest Relations Rep and she was also there to check me out at 9 a.m. I think she may be a work-a-holic, but where ever she got her training, she is an expert. Pleasant, informative and smiley! Great job! Rooms were nice, clean and had the coldest blowing A/C. Will return on every trip to Tuscaloosa.
I just checked out and the desk staff were great. They both have a good sense of humor and I found myself chatting with them for about 20 mins. before I hit the road. All inns should have a pair like them. The room were nice for the value price, I slept great and the shower was the absolute best. The towels could have been thicker, but I have to remember that I wasn't at a 4 stars hotel. I would stay again.
This hotel was in a good location, and I didn't have to drive to get something to eat in their town's crazy traffic. I travel around with work and found that this was the best hotel for the price. At $49 per night I didn't expect a 4 star hotel...

Excellent
Well, my stay was great. I used their ADVERTISED High Speed Internet. My room was very clean and the desk clerks were very nice. I was traveling with my dog and although I didn't like being in a smoking room (per policy) it was nice. And "Marcie"...
My wife and I were passing through, didn't want to stay at a expensive hotel or at a roach motel. We found this motel right off the interstate, quiet, affordable and nicer than expected for the money $49. The shower was top notch, the bed was new and we really enjoyed the free breakfast. we talked to the clerk (found out she was a manager) what a nice girl- helpful, funny, smart and had the prettiest smile to go with her good morning. Southern hospitality at it's best. I only rate it a nine cause of the towels.... but they did make a good back scratcher.
