Horrible
The map given for the hotel was off, so I had to call the place to get directions. The associate spoke horrible english and didn't know any of the main roads around Madison. Once I found the hotel it took 15 min. to get my key, because she didn't...

It was a good hotel, with clean rooms and bathrooms. It had TV with full cable. It also had a nice breakfast setup. The internet connection in the lobby did not work.
It was a basic room, with no big frills, but I did not want any. It had a good price when others in town hiked their rates because of graduation ceremonies.
I am very likely
to return to the Americas Best Value Inn - Madison East.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Mediocre
Pedestrian renovation of older motel. Access was confusing, with no signage. Took me two 189 degree turns to understand the the sign reading "No Exit" was the entrance to the facility. Room was dark and depressing, with only a shower; couldn't even...

Okay
You get what you pay for. It really wasn't that bad - basically what I expected. The only major con is that it is DOWNWIND of the landfill. I was in the pool for about ten minutes before the smell was too overwhelming. Other than that it was worth...

The bar is fine, and the room is fine, but then they stole $20 from my credit card account three days later and then alleged that they were missing an iron!
There is no list of items you are signing for when you check in, you have no reason to check, I have never stolen anything in my life. An iron and then find out when they have illegally charged my credit card account.
Its fraud and theft, and when I called to object, all I got was a Too bad and of course they never made a mistake. It was not a good situation.

Mediocre
This hotel wasn't completely skuzzy, but the whole place smelled really icky, the linens were old and cruddy, the bathroom kept flooding and we could hear every screaming child (and there were a lot) through the paper-thin walls. I won't be back.

Excellent
the hotel was clean, quiet, very economical. The staff were extremely courteous in dealing with all of the customers. The breakfast provided was much better than the average continental.
