42 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The hotel was OK, there was no ice or eatery, but well kept, we just needed a place to sleep. My boyfriend and I came in with another couple and stopped at our room for a night cap. The lady from the front desk phoned my room sternly saying "this room is only for two people not four4". I said We know, were just visiting with our friends. Are we too loud? She replied No. I said, I don't understand the problem. The staff member said Well, they can't stay there. I said, I know they have their own room. The staff said They do? Which one? I replied, The most expensive room you have here She asked What room number?, and I replied, 220, the only room you have with a whirlpool. She said OK, and hung up.
We were there celebrating our friends wedding anniversary. How rude, it sounded like she jumped to some conclusions there. Even if she did question how many people were sleeping in our room, she could have handled this a lot better.
