The Best Inns Lee Manor is a historic hotel dating from the 1930's, when its was called the Moulton Hotel. In the 1990's it was renamed the Lee Manor Inn, and in 2004 it was franchised with Best Inns. A renovation in 2003 left the hotel equipped with wireless high-speed Internet access. At the same time, the original charm was kept intact, for which the hotel received an award from the St. Pete Historical Society. Today, this hotel serves everyone from business to leisure travelers, with the hospitality and warmth of yesteryear. The Best Inn is within walking distance of many of St. Petersburg's treasures - museums, restaurants, the Pier and Baywalk. Despite its downtown location, parking is free for guests. The rooms were clean, bed was firm. The staff was fantastic, very friendly, breakfast was good. this is a wonderful value, very convenient to all sites.

AKA Lee Manor. This is a neat place! The location was great for our business trip(3 rooms). To our surprise this was more of a b&b. Very nice owners, clean rooms(small). The floors are all older hardwood. Privacy is lacking a little, it's like staying in Grandma's house, antiques all over. Dali prints line the hallway. Happy hour every day (beer, wine) 5-7pm. Parking area is small but adequate. Short walking distance to Bay Walk (2 blocks,open-air mall) or on the water dining(4-5 blocks). Better suited to downtown visitors to St. Pete, rather than us hospital workers...but we enjoyed it. I would go back to stay a day or two but not 6 like we did.
