Not great, not the worst place ever. – Posted Mar 25, 2009

Mediocre
38 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Staff were friendly. Location convenient to stores, restaurants, and interstate. Decent breakfast. Room wasn't the cleanest - 3 spots where unidentifiable stuff was squished or smeared on the walls, burns in sheets/blankets in a non-smoking room,

Horrible

We stayed at this hotel for a conference we were attending in the Bloomington/Normal area. This hotel was awful. It was filthy. The showers were disgusting. It was so bad, we refused to stay the second night and spent part of our day finding a...

Excellent

It’s a very nice place. My wife and I had a lovely time.

I am very likely to return to the Americas Best Inns-Bloomington.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

My week stay was a nightmare – Posted May 30, 2006

Horrible
45 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

This was the worst I have ever seen. During my week’s stay no one cleaned my room for the entire week, not once. No one gave me any towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, glasses. No one cleaned the bathtub or bathroom the entire week stay. If you want something you have to go get it yourself, if you can find someone. Then the office says the maids are gone for the day even though they do not clean your rooms if you stay for a whole week.

Once you check in you get absolutely no service! The rooms are not clean. You cannot hear the TV. All the outlets do not work. I couldn’t use my laptop because the outlet did not work, nor did the lamp. They will not give you an extra pillow. So don’t bother to ask. No local calls with out paying an enormous extra bill. I was not allowed to have breakfast with out paying an extra bill for it too. Don’t stay there!

The staff was friendly and the room was inexpensive. However, the room and especially the bathroom were not very clean, and the room was kind of depressing.

Horrible
56 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

Room smoke detector had a low battery, chirped all night. TV had no remote. Room had no kleenex, Reservation was for 4 people, gave us 1 king bed. After call to front desk got another room with king bed. 2 adults 2 children would have liked what we requested 1 room 2 queen or double beds. Could not call out on second room phone. Breakfast was okay but could have been fresher, bagels old, donuts had Christmas sprinkles on them. They could try harder to be cleaner and fresher with everything. Would not stay there again.

Horrible

Can you spell NEVER RETURN? B-E-S-T I-N-N. The service was horrible, rude and ignorant of simple cleanliness. Check in time is whenever they get around to it and if you're in line waiting for service, use your cell phone for quicker attention,...
