52 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Upon entering the room I noticed a musty smell. The carpet seemed a bit dirty. The bed was extremely hard, the pillows flat, sheets not tucked in very well. The towels were scratchy. No shampoo was provided for the 2nd day. The TV was small, and the picture kept going out. There was no pool, didn't see a fitness room, restaurant, or bar. You offer no military discount. The laundry room exhaust vent blew on people as they walked by, or used the stairs. The room door was hard to open/close. The "Continental Breakfast" consisted of dry pastry, and was obviously a bargain brand. I would like to say, however, the night clerk was extremely courteous, and polite.
I am not likely
to return to the Americas Best Inns-Beaufort.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Rooms were fairly clean and the room was large, the MO and frig was handy.The lobby was very shabby and not clean. The staff I saw was not at al. I was looking for a budget hotel and it filled the bill. I was in town for business; I would not stay...

Tolerable...but definitely not worth the money. The desk clerk was nice and helped unscramble a mistake they made with our reservations. Bathroom was not very clean. Three light bulbs in the room were burned out.
