America's Best Inn Chattanooga Motel - Page 1

This was a chain we had never heard of, but they were efficient, friendly, and quick. We chose them because they were right by the interstate where we were traveling. It’s a really great place to stay for the money.

This hotel made me feel secure: Although all doors opened to the outside, the doors could be securely locked and bolted in order to not be disturbed by anyone.

The recent interstate construction made finding the location difficult. Several lights in the room didn't work. The carpet and wallpaper looked very worn. The heater was extremely loud. All in all, it was not a very good experience.

It was convenient to Interstate 75, but because of recent construction, the online directions were incorrect. There isn't anywhere to eat nearby that I saw. The price on the website for our room (king jacuzzi non-smoking) we were told by the desk clerk on our arrival was wrong due to a recent sale of the hotel. It was actually $20 more per night. The room was a little rundown and needed refurbishing. Wallpaper was coming up at seams and corners, there was a large mold stain on the bathroom wall where an attempt had been made to clean it; most of the lamps either had blown or no light bulbs, and they were stingy with their towels. While it is a cheap place to stay (even with the $20 per night increase), as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I would not recommend staying at the Chattanooga America's Best Inns and Suite.
