It was a last minute stay but they had a place for us and they were very friendly and i really liked the room. When we first walked in the room there was a really refreshing smell ,not stale at all, the beds were very comfortable and my kids and i really enjoyed the pool. The view is a nice one also if you stand on the deck you look right over Lake Superior ,it's gorgeous!! The lobby was beautiful and a nice little gift shop, it's not that far of a drive to Grand Marais either. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a nice comfortable and friendly place to stay! Great!!
