I chose this hotel because it was listed as great for families. However, I was dissapointed that the "game room" was two old arcade games in the corner, and the "totally quiet construction" still allowed us to hear the all night...

We go to Ames different times during the year for family events and always stay at this hotel. Very clean, accomodating and the continental breakfast can't be beat. THe staff is very friendly and everything is always very clean.

69 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We have stayed at Americinn several times. We meet family from Wisconsin and use the hospitality room to gather in and are very pleased with the service. The pool is near the room so we can keep track of the younger members of the family. We will go there again I'm sure. We pick the location that we have our reunions according to the availability of an Americinn.
The staff was very accommodating on anything we needed.
I am very likely
to return to the AmericInn Ames.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
