Amelia Island Plantation Hotel

It was an expensive nightmare from the minute we arrived. Waited for over an hour for our room which was dirty! A room service tray was in the hall next to our door for 2 days.

The food was average at best and the service was slow ....The "resort" is a hotel located in a gated residential community with residents that don't seem to enjoy visitors! Amenities were NOT first class and I've stayed at the best resorts in the country...and this place is far from one of the best!

I would NEVER recommend this hotel...go some where else.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The excellent staff was friendly and helpful.

I liked the atmosphere and the tranquility.

It was not luxurious, but it was a lower rated convention hotel and that was disappointing. The room had a small bathroom, two beds close together, very overpriced food and slow service.

The resort was great. They have wonderful restaurants and fantastic golf courses.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The entire staff was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable about the resort and island.
