Great place. My daughter and I stayed 1 night and attended a brewers game, everything went well. Shuttle service was great. Rode my motorcycle and it was safe all night.

We flew out from California to check out Marquette U, which our daughter will be attending in the fall of '07. Only after reading up on the city of Milwaukee and choosing the hotel knowing the area, we decided if our daughter was going to go to...

This hotel opened the weekend I was in Milwaukee for Marquette's Graduation. The hotel rooms have been completely renovated and for the price, the amenities and service exceed my typical experiences at a full service hotel. Outstanding Job!! I will...

We had high hopes after reading a review of this renovated Milwaukee landmark. In every aspect of our stay, it fell short of our expectations. First of all, our room was grimey and had a nasty odor. Second, given the neighborhood where this hotel is located, it is seriously in need of a security detail. Third, the service was slow, the employees were rude, and the food/drinks were sub-par. Enough art deco flair to choke a goat, however I would never stay there again. On the bright side, you can walk right out the front door to score some smack and a prostitute. For god sake, don't bring the family!

I reviewed the personal comments from area hotels. Chose the Ambassador as it scored high. Now I know why. No hint of cigarette smoke. The 1930's art deco decor is simply a pleasure to the eye. Exceptionally quiet. My room had a designers touch. The ...

Truly one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Rooms were amazing-elegant with historic charm. I could not believe how reasonably priced everything was. Dinner and brekfast were superb and the martinis in the bar were generous and prepared to...
