55 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Well, I did fall in love with this hotel. My daughter and I spent a very rainy and cold 4 days in Chicago and the thing that saved the trip altogether was this wonderful boutique hotel.
Things I loved:
First and foremost: the beds were heavenly. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.
Aveda toiletries and products.
Free breakfast with everything from fruits, pastries, bagels, juices and the best coffee and varieties of teas.
Great robes & slippers for each guest in room.
Nightly happy hour with great drinks & appetizers (free!)
Excellent location, walking distance of so many things and in a great area the west river section just south of the loop. Could walk or take a quick taxi to all we wanted to do.
Great room service (food provided by very famous restaurant across the street) Excellent and plentiful.
I fell in love with Chicago and the wonderful Amalfi hotel.
