The Almond Tree Inn was a very cute, cozy piece of paradise in Key West. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The courtyard was landscaped beautifully and was a nice retreat from the craziness that is Key West. We had a great time and would

The shower drain was clogged but the maintenance people took care of it almost immediately. The bathroom area was a little small but this was a wonderful little hotel. I loved the continental breakfast. It was also right across the street from a laundromat so that was really nice and also right next door to a CVS drug store. All the staff was very friendly. We were on our honeymoon and they brought complimentary champaign. They also brought down numerous items sent by various friends and relatives. It is right near the main drag in Key West but just far enough off that it is quite quiet. It is not a huge cookie cutter experience like the larger chains but it is still more professional than a bed and breakfast type of arrangement. The rooms are just a hair small but I would recommend the Almond Tree hotel to anyone planning to visit the area and wanting a place reasonably near the action but also very quiet and professional.
Our room was far enough back that we really could not hear the traffic at all. Also there were not too many youngsters on the spring break.
I am very likely
to return to the Almond Tree Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The actual bathroom area that contained the toilet and the shower were too small. We stayed in a "suite" and the beds definately needed new mattresses. There were 2 broken, dirty chairs on our patio. Complimentary breakfast was usual continental...
