51 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
If you have had enough of the cookie-cutter brand-X-tels to last a lifetime, this is the place for you. The location is
unbelieveable with the river and restaurants and bars a short walk. It is retro but in the best way possible. It reminds one of the roadside places that dotted the country in years past. The nicest most accomodating folks. Clayton is a great destination for those of us who seek a refuge from the arcade atmosphere that so many places that are on the waterfront offer. A very quaint town.
I thought the place was the shizzel. That Bill and Barb are just great people. They even have a nephew that is pretty cool too. He is the main reason Bertrands stays a float. That Bill guy is really tall. Best wishes on your new castle.

Over the last few years we have stayed at Bertrand's motel, My daughter and grands sob have made the trip from Toronto and look foreward doing it later in the year. The staff always helped us out when we needed help. Thanx The...
Great place with host that are really home town. Rooms were very clean with everything that was needed. The owners were really great people and very friendly.
