The Alamo Square Bed and Breakfast was a deep disappointment. Centrally located, across from the Alamo Square park in San Francisco's Fillmore district, the bed and breakfast theoretically possessed all the elements necessary for a gracious stay. Unfortunately, the gentle lady appeared in decline. The furniture was frayed and dusty, linens were thin and threadbare in parts and the inn seemed in need of a deep cleaning.
The staff unfortunately, did little to compensate for the challenges of the physical plant. The manager was surly and the housekeeping staff seemed non-existent.
All in all, this was an experience to never repeat.
