Mediocre
I liked the location of the place bus stop about 10 min away(nearest rest is downtown there is a convenience near bus stop. I also liked the advertised price 2 people $34.00 + tax (See RoomSaver.com)
My name is Giancarlo Colón. On Friday, November 7th, I called the Alamo Lodge to get a price for the weekend until Monday at 7:00 AM and the lady whom answered, at aprox. 9:00 PM, quoted me $93.40. I said Monday, 11/10/2008 until 7:00 AM, clearly....
The rooms were clean , and cheap. I was able to do so much more while vacationing in San Antonio. They had plenty of parking and very friendly staff. I would definitely recomend this motel , if you want to save money, relax, and enjoy your time ...
NO refrigerator, no microwave (per ad), no telephone, no Internet, no trash can, no soap, some cable, mold in living room, bathroom and closet, bug power along walls but still in room, no lock and chain in very questionable area. NO refunds, no...

29 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business
This hotel room had fleas - need I say more? It was barely cleaned before I checked in. And I checked in late afternoon - so they had plenty of time. There was ash on the table (from some previous occupant's cigarette), hair on bed and bathroom and it had a terrible stench. The carpets were bad and everything about it was filthy. I can't believe that this is what I got for $60 in downtown San Antonio!!
I visited Las Vegas recently and for $35 per night, I stayed in an pretty decent, neat and sanitary hotel. This stinkhole needs to be inspected and blacklisted.
I am not likely
to return to the Alamo Lodge.
I would not recommend it to friends.
