53 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Here it comes:

1- internet access require your own laptop.

2- must pay cash for Disney ticket

3 - room walls need paint

4 - furniture : bed post was loose. could fall on your head.

5 - old candy in vending machine. (no refunds in office)

6 - TV remote need batteries.

7 - soap bars were too thin.

8 - unfriendly office staff.

9 - 20 minutes (walking distance to Disney).

10 - Spa was dirty.

11 - bathroom mirror was real old. (full of spots).

12 - Most of sodas were sold out.

I am not likely to return to the Alamo Inn.
I would not recommend it to friends.

43 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

I hated every thing about it. It was a horrible experience. My family and I spent the day at Disneyland. So we were unable check-in early. This hotel was the worst. It had roaches, crickets, ants and mold everywhere on the inside of the 3 units we rented out for the night.

Since we had booked our rooms through an online web-site, the clerk referred us back to them to get a complete refund. It was 12:00 midnight! Both the clerk and the web-site agent were uncaring about the living conditions. So, needless to say, we demanded to see other rooms available. We then found three rooms that we could put the children to bed in, we kept the lights on all night; so the roaches would not come out!

We accepted the three rooms that seemed to be a little better and we were very tired. We had to leave our luggage in the car until the next morning. My particular room was on the second level. I sat up all night with the lights on and so did the neighbors in many of the units around me. They were physically outside; standing in the walk way in front of there rooms, talking loudly, drinking alcohol, smoking etc. I heard high heel shoes walking all night long. There were lots of young males and females in and out, and cell phones ringing all night. It is a very nasty place to have any type of decent human being stay. It was very clear to me what was going on. It was very close to the theme park but it was not worth the pain we suffered so far away from home. I would not stay at this hotel again if it was free for a month, and they reimbursement me for my entire vacation. It was that bad.

So, please check out the details closely when using online websites for your travel stay because, if they stand behind these types of slum lord hotels then they don't have the customer's best interest.

All I can say is that there are roaches everywhere. They're in the fridge, the microwave, and the shower has yellow mold all over the shower. It's horrid.
