I would love to say that people are getting better as I getting older in the way that they treat me. Yes, I'm in my mid 20s but that still doesn't mean that I would trash a hotel room especially one my mother was staying in with me. I was staying at this hotel for one night and then they proceeded to charge me for all sorts of things. Don't get me wrong it's a nice clean hotel for being in Van Nuys and suprisingly quiet even though it is next to the airport. I'm just saying that maybe before they jumped to the conclusion that I was smoking in the room, which is a 200 dollar charge, that they may actually want to check the room and smell instead of saying they smelt it when my mother was still asleep in it. Which makes me wonder if they don't believe in their guests privacy and feel unsafe if it's their policy to enter a room while a guest is sleeping. I will never stay there again because they were very rude to me. I understand that some people my age have probably done some horrible things to their rooms, but if you are going to make it standard practice to discriminate against someone because of their age you might want to add an age requirement to your stay policy. Horrible staff absolutely no help.
