Affinia Manhattan Hotel

My Daughter and I stayed at this hotel from the 22nd - 25th November 2007.

We found the hotel staff welcoming , polite and very friendly. The hotel was conveniently situated - transport links / major shops were close by. Our room was large, quiet, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We encountered a slight problem with the air conditioning but having reported the difficulty it was dealt with quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and agreed to return to this hotel on another occasion.

I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in New York.

The location is in a touristy area, but convenient to Grand Central Station. They have excellent deals, especially if you take a smaller room.

This hotel made me feel pampered: The beds have lush sheets, the rooms are well decorated and overall very clean.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I would book there again should I travel to New York City.

This hotel made me feel secure: The whole atmosphere at the hotel had a secure feeling about it. We were greeted by the doorman and also by the concierge.

It combined the decor and the thoughtful little touches of a boutique hotel with the facilities and the location of an upscale chain. The staff was attentive to requests and problems. It had a central location, in the heart of midtown Manhattan. I loved the spacious, attractive room with kitchenette. They had good workout facilities, open twenty four hours. I will definitely stay at this hotel again during next trip to New York City.

This hotel made me feel inspired: They had activity kits for Manhattan and the boroughs included in the room reading material. The kits were entertaining and comprehensive. While I did not use the kits themselves, they provided inspiration to explore different sites and areas I might have otherwise overlooked.

The Affinia Manhattan hotel is a great hotel for families who want a more spacious accommodation. The suites are comfortable with a small kitchen including a refrigerator, a stove and a microwave. The bathroom was small for the room size but adequate for our needs. The service in the hotel was friendly and efficient.

This hotel made me feel secure: They had multiple hotel entrances, security cameras and lots of activity at all times.
