I was at the hotel for a series of meetings, which were also held at the hotel. This was my first time staying there and it was a very good experience, particularly the service we were provided for our meetings. The gentleman who worked with us most directly was a real gem. As a result of this visit, we will be returning for another similar visit.

The Affinia Dumont is really a great hotel. It is located in the Murray hill area, which is a quieter part of town (as much as New York can be!) with a lot of great restaurants. The rooms are really clean and nicely decorated. You can have rooms with a great view if you are higher up. The price is a little bit on the higher side, just like a lot of NY hotels.

I started staying here for business about six months ago, and it's now the only place I stay when I come to NYC, either for business or pleasure. The rooms are big by NYC standards, clean, and have all the amenities one could want, except for wireless internet. If they had that, it would be a 10. The staff now knows me and greets me by name each time I arrive. All of that, plus the full-sized kitchen, makes it like a home away from home. I would recommend it to anyone!

This was one of the most friendly hotels I have ever experienced. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The spa services in the hotel were excellent. The efficient kitchen was also very convenient. We did not want to leave!
