I found The Adobe about 10 years ago and have been going back at least once a year since. We have even taken our Labs with us. Last year my mother-in law pasted away while I was there and I had to leave at 10pm, they did not charge me for that night's stay. Thanks Adobe! Hope to see you soon.
I am English and have travelled a lot, I operate my own hotel in Kenya so I have experience from both sides of the counter. Adobe Resort is A1 when you have had a long drive and want somewhere homely, with good service and in beautiful surroundings.
Looking Forward to July 4th,2008!

Excellent
Have stayed at The Adobe many times and love the view, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and the peacefulness we enjoy while staying at the Adobe. We bring our dog and he loves it too! The rooms have been always clean and I have never had a bad...
How wonderful to find a room where you can walk out the deck door and be at the ocean's edge! Price was great, restaurant was great, all manner of amenities from laundry room to fitness room. Can't wait to go back.
This place was fabulous! We stayed for 2 nights in 2 different rooms and you have a great ocean view no matter what room your in on that side. Make sure you ask for an ocean view. The rooms were very clean and nice. There was a great trail...

Good
Awseome views, great service and they have some rooms that allow pets. The location in yachats is one of the most dramatic and best on the oregon coast.
I haven't had this good a time in a long time. Me, my wife and 2 kids stayed here with another couple and their son in one of the suites. We were on the ground floor and had instant beach access. The suite had 2 rooms with 2 queen size beds,...
Our favorite place on the Oregon Coast :)

Good
I'd say about six or seven years ago while vacationing and traveling the Pacific Coast we came across the Adobe Resort. We've been going back ever since.
The view, restaraunt, beach access, and affordability are the main reasons we...

The location was beautiful. The restaurant served very good food. We had a few problems though. Our stay was courtesy of the Oregon Coast Magazine so the room and dinner was paid for.
The hotel staff did not know how to handle these charges and we ended up arguing about it even though I had documentation in hand to show I was telling the truth. The front desk staff was rude. The room was nice and spacious, but the screen door was missing, so we were unable to open the sliding glass door to hear and smell the ocean.
With the missing screen door, we found multiple large bugs in the room also (we're guessing the previous guests must have had the door open without the screen door in place). The pool and jacuzzi was nice. All in all, an okay experience.
