The Ace is how you want to travel- simple, stylish, and not too expensive. We offer all the comforts of business class with the immediacy and personal attention only found in an independent hotel. Our one-of-a-kind accommodations combine modern lines with an eclectic sensibility, re-interpreting the classic flavor and affordability of European-style lodging. Our historic Belltown building is situated in the heart of downtown Seattle, within blocks of Pike Place Market and Seattle's ever-growing network of art galleries, clubs, bars, boutiques and restaurants. Downstairs, you can get the best of independent designers at Kuhlman's clothing, your nails done at Wax-On Spa, the coolest cut in the Northwest at Rudy's Barbershop or a cold beer at the Cyclops bar and restaurant. The modest size of the Ace Hotel also allows for easy access to hotel staff, creating a fun and intimate experience for everyone. No two rooms are exactly alike, making every visit a fresh experience. The (Not-So-) Standard room has 14ft ceilings and white brick walls reminiscent of a downtown loft. Rooms are furnished with low, platform beds, stainless steel in-room sinks, vanities, 2 condoms and a copy of the Kama Sutra. 6 individual bathrooms (just down the hall) are shared with fellow guests and feature oversized showers complete with their own compelling soundtracks The Deluxe rooms feature high ceilings, low queen size beds, whitewashed brick, modern furnishings and luxurious private baths. Several rooms include views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound. The staff will guide you through all of the hotel's unique room styles when booking. All rooms come stocked with French Army blankets, cable TV, phone, free wi-fi, newspaper and minibar. If you are like us- whether on business or pleasure- you are looking for more than just a room when you travel. The Ace is a small, intimate hotel that lets you feel like you are "somewhere" not just "anywhere."

pros: tremendous staff, lovley roomsEven without a hot tub or vending machine, this is the only place I stay when coming to Seattle. A fabulous staff and lovely rooms adorn the Ace. I feel like a rock star from Modest Mouse when I check-in and...
pros: location, clean, uniqueI read about the Ace in last year's Best of article, and made reservations for Memorial Day weekend 2002. We loved everything about it! Our room was immaculate, the staff was friendly and helpful and the location is...
pros: cool design, affordable, great locationIf you're visiting Seattle, The Ace Hotel is a great place to stay at an affordable price! The location is great. There are tons of good restaurants within a 3 block radius of the hotel and the staff...
If you are a modern minimalist, you will love the Ace. Cab distance from the down town and the water front. Nice bar downstairs, one of the coolest places to stay in Seattle.
pros: great location, inexpensive, nice designI've been to the Ace three times now, and I'll definitely go back. The Ace isn't for those people who want luxury, but the rooms are clean and the service is friendly and helpful. Last time I was there,...

Okay
pros: locationThe Ace is certainly a fun place to stay--and you can't beat this location. I've got a love/hate thing with the decor, though. The minimalist approach certainly *looks* cool, but I'd like to see more ammenities for the kind of money I...

Excellent
pros: Friendly, Immaculate, AffordableI have stayed several times and will be back in June! I love the concept and design! The staff is so freindly and helpful and always give me the Seattlites perspective on what to do...
You don't get as many amenities as you'd expect here, considering the price. The phone and TV in the room, for example, seem like they belong to a dilapidated, roadside motel. Basically, you're paying for the cool design (huge, pivoting mirror-door...

Good
You're paying for the location here, because the rooms don't live up to the price points. Sure, the retro-Scandanavian concept is nice, but I expected a little more luxury for this price. Nevertheless the Ace is right in the middle of downtown and...

Mediocre
All Review Photos I found this hotel through an article in Wallpaper magazine. Then, it was also recommended by my sister as the hotel in Belltown and that's where the action was. This is a small hotel in a renovated old brick building. There are...
