The rooms are always clean. The manager is more helpful than most. She is not afraid to take care of obnoxious guests, which she had one during one time we were there, she stands up for the hotel rules (we appreciate the no smoking policy). Our f

I have been staying here since 2004. The rooms have always been very clean. I appreciate the fact that the rooms are smoke free. The manager will bend over backwards to see that all your needs are met. She is a very kind and generous Christian l

Unless it's your absolute LAST RESORT, keep going. It's only 25 miles down to Monticello, UT, or about 35 miles to Cortez CO. It's worth your drive either direction to stay away from this place. We were part of a group that stayed here. One party needed extra space for kids and got stuck in a run down section of the motel that didn't even have a working air conditioner, just a fan that they had to run water in to try to cool it down. The manager does a walkthrough of the room with you when you check out to make sure everything is in order. There is a list of rules posted on the door that makes you laugh, but they're serious for instance no laying on or between the bedspread and blanket because they only clean and change the sheets, there's a charge if they determine you've soiled the blanket or bed spread. And don't get caught smoking in a room - there's a $500 charge for cleaning and removing the smoke. Crazy. On the Fourth of July there wasn't even maid service to provide clean towels. One party arrived on the Fourth and the manager didn't even want to clean the room for them from the previous people who'd stayed there the night before because it was a holiday. Bottom line spend the extra gallon of gas to get a place in Cortez or Monticello. The rates are probably better there, too.
