I live in the metro Detroit area and have pass this hotel numerous times. I was suprise to find it as a recommended hotel on kayak. This is a transit hotel and I would not recommend anyone from in town or out of town staying here.
I would say it is a dangerous place. Tourist BEWARE!

During my stay at Econolodge, the people were not well informed about the lodge. It was not the fault of the lodge, it was News Year's Eve, and it was noisy. I received a 4:30 am phone call to someone that wasn't in the room.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the A Victory Inn - Detroit.
I might recommend it to friends.
