We stayed at Summerhouse Inn while in town visiting family. The room was shabby and rundown looking, the window dirty and the carpeting felt greasy. The bathroom was clean, however. The motel was very close to our destination on the far east side of town so we might stay there again; but only for that reason.
Given supply and demand, for a football game weekend, we paid $129 plus tax. The room was old, dusty, and what you might expect for $50 on the freeway near a truck stop. There may be better rooms within this motel as it is claimed that rooms have...
We enjoyed staying at the Summer House Inn. It has a lodge-feel to it. We were with a large group and the staff at this hotel went out of their way to accomodate us and our specific needs.
The room was overpriced!! The whole place needs to renovated inside and out. It just feels really old and dirty. The service was just okay - nothing to brag about. The sheets on the bed were clean but there were stains on the mattress.
