54 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Not a bad place at all, but their website is definitely misleading. I grew up in the Phoenix area and I know this place is in an old part of Scottsdale. Sure enough, when I drove up to it, I could immediately see the 50s-60s architecture, even though the place has certainly been reworked.

It was clean enough, but it's a funny feeling walking on the second level walkways past the built-in window air conditioners, as you make your way on decidedly unlevel, narrow concrete walks.

The room was nice, but not resort-like. Unfortunately, we got put into a room that had a door adjoining us with the room next door. Through it, we heard the next room's occupants carry on a happy, laughing, joking, probably drunk conversation well into the early morning. They started up again about 6-ish.

Again, not a bad place at all, clean, and worth the money, especially if the location works for you. But, resort it's not.

I am not likely to return to the 3 Palm Resort.
I might recommend it to friends.

34 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

My stay at this hotel was the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel, ever. The "name brand" towels and robes were wet, the whirlpool was dirty, vending machines did not work, the "premium" cable is a line of b.s., there's one cable channel! There was not a minute of peace and quiet all night long. To top it off they double charged my credit card after my stay plus charged me an additional $100 for who knows what because I didn't charge ANYTHING! I ended up leaving in the middle of the night because it was so noisy and I was so disgusted with the staff, my room and the smell

I can't think of a bad thing to say about 3 palms. It is easy on your pocketbook and it is just a cute place to stay. The bathroom was cleam and it had a whirlpool tub and it was nice. The pool and jacuzzi were huge and offered a very large tv to watch while laying out relaxing too. I also found the staff to be helpful and friendly and I would come back anytime. Highly recommended for anyone.

27 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

We used this hotel for a quick one night stay.

The place is very cute with a retro feel. The staff were very nice and efficient. We had a free room upgrade to a King Size bed with a Whirlpool. Everything was very clean. The bed was pretty comfortable with a nice down comforter.

I will definitely stay here again. It was a great price as well!

33 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business

Loved: the funky/artsy/retro decor and style; how nice the staff was; the convenient location; the cleanliness of my room; the comfort of my bed; how the room came equipped with cable and a DVD player; the 30-person Jacuzzi tub; the cute pool/lounge area; the ease of parking; the pretty landscaping; the modern, stylish lobby; the blood orange-scented toiletries in the bathroom. Hated: nothing. My only complaint (and it's not a big deal): the night we arrived, they seemed a little understaffed, but the staff members who were there were so nice and polite it did not bother me much. This place is a great deal for the money. I suspect that guests who visited the place earlier and expressed complaints arrived before the full renovation was completed or else they are used to posh, expensive hotels that are frequented by the rich. The 3 Palms is a great place for someone with a middle class budget to enjoy a little taste of luxury at an affordable price. I would definitely stay here again (although some of my male colleagues on this business trip said the retro 1950s Palm Springs vibe at the 3 Palms was a little too artistic for them.)
