Comfortable, extra clean rooms, with hospitable owners & happy staff!

We have frequented this small motel, off the beaten path in Oakley for several years. My spouse works in the oilfield nearby and i enjoy the tranquil weekend getaway. The pool sits behind the motel (complete privacy fence) & is crystal clear. What more could one ask for! About 2 miles north of Oakley on I-70 & Hwy 83, is a fantastic all day buffet/menu restaurant called Colonial Steak House. The best fried chicken & homemade mashed potatoes all day, along with a special (feast) on the buffet each evening. There is plenty of scrumptious in town dining also.

We enjoyed our stay. Checking in late was without a problem and the next morning, although the pool was not open, you graciously opened the pool for us, offered us the morning paper, provided a great breakfast and coffee, and offered us a late check out.

The next morning, although the pool was not open, you graciously opened the pool for us, offered us the morning paper, provided a great breakfast and coffee, and offered us a late check out.

Thank you so much for your hospitality, flexibility and generosity. You made the rest of the day of travel much more tolerable. We do business a couple of times a year in Kansas, and now know where we will be stopping along the way.
