Good up keep for the age of the building. I was visiting from NH for a wedding and really couldn't tell by the reviews about the hotel but took a chance. It was great! Close to everything I needed and even though the facilities were basic, they surpassed my needs. I wasn't looking for a resort. The staff was exceptional, very professional. Was told "there's a drinking fountain down the hall" when I needed water with breakfast to take my pills. Eggs for breakfast, but no salt or pepper??? Lumpy mattress, even lumpier pillows. One day the maid left the used towels on the floor, didn't empty the wastebaskets, and didn't re-stock the coffee pot. When I complained, they told me I "could come down to the desk and get coffee and towels." Finally, pray you don't get noisy neighbors next door or below your room...
