The hotel stunk like old food. The elevators were so sketchy, I felt like they were 100 yrs old. The furnishings are horrible. The room looked like it belonged in the 1060s. I heard every door close on my floor. I spent one night and they charged my for 2 nights of parking WTF!!! Needs to be blown up or rebuilt from the ground up. I wanted to check out the entire time. If you are in search of great affordable rooms check out "the standard." They have two locations in LA. We had car valet, parking was not very good. But, the $20.00 a day was well worth it. Lots of people milling around, so if you walked around after dark it felt safe. There was trouble when it came to retrieving our vehicle on more than one occasion during our three day 2 night stay. The attendants misplaced our keys a few times and it took a while to get our car even though it was never placed in the garage and was less than 50 feet away.
