I never new there was such a thing as a roach motel. Found roaches by the hundreds in the back of the fridge, when asked to have this resolved the staff seemed like this was no big deal, were rude and used a bug spray to resolve my issue. Disgusting, old and smelly property. The staff needs high improvement along with management. I find it hard to believe seeing some positive comments from this place, these comments seem to me as fraud, its what led me to rent a room here. Will never stay here.

My sister and my mom arrived in the wee

My sister and my mom arrived in the wee hours of the morning due to a late flight. They went right to sleep then woke up to their luggage missing. So someone came into their room in the middle of the night and took their belongings and left what they didn't want outside their room. How could this happen? My sister is starting college in a few days and has nothing now. Management and the police say there is nothing they can do. Other than that the place looks like the ritz on the website compared to what you get when you get there. This is so gross there are brown spots everywhere and the floors look like they haven't been cleaned in years.Please don't stay here...you will regret it!

Fantastic Time

Located directly on the water of Biscayne Bay, the White House Inn was my best choice to stay so far. Great staff, excellent location and a comfortable room make this hotel the best choice in Miami.

pros: Beautiful Scenery, Quiet roomsI usually travel a few times a year and this last visit was my third to the White House Hotel. The rates are always good for me. Usually rooms with a view are more expensive, but each time I have stayed not much difference in the price. Also, the deck was so relaxing and another great view of the water. The staff here is very friendly. I was treated very kindly from the moment I checked in, until I checked out 4 days later. The management always smiled and even took time to walk me to my room. I definitely recommend this hotel for a nice weekend, relaxing getaway spot!!

I am from N. Florida and come into town

I am from N. Florida and come into town to visit family often. I have stayed at the White House 3 times for 3-5 days at a time and have found each time a pleasurable experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. That makes me very happy. The rooms are nice and the view of the water couldn't be more romantic at night. Prices for rooms on the water are usually not this cheap, but I always book in advance and have never had a problem. The Room was cleaned to a Very High Standard and serviced Properly each day with fresh laundry--a huge plus in my book!!! The Staff (without exception) were very Friendly and efficient, the hotel well Managed and cared for--I would never consider staying anywhere else in Miami---Do go!!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE< YEA I SEE SOME NASTY REVIEWS, BUT THE PLACE HAS CHANGED. AFTER A YEAR AGO OR SO NEW OWNERS TOOK OVER, AND RE DID THIS PLACE AND ARE STILL PUTTING MAJOR BUX INTO THIS GEM! I LOVE THE PLACE BECAUSE ITS PEACEFUL! THE ROOMS ARE LARGE, AND NOW VERY NICE SINCE THEY HAVE BEEN REMODELED ON THE BAY SIDE WING! ALSO VERY SAFE AREA, OFFICE OPEN 24 7 WILLING TO HELP YOU WITH ANY THING YOU ASK. THEIR RATES KILL THE MARKET! NOT TO MENTION THE PLACE IS VERY VERY CLEAN. I come into town three times out of

I come into town three times out of year on business and stay for 2 weeks at a time, and have been staying at the WhiteHouse Inn for over 9 years. I must say ever since the turnover of new ownership/management the Whitehouse Inn keeps upgrading, and almost everytime I check in the place keeps getting nicer and nicer. So I look foward each time I check in! The General Manager is very sweet, and will go out on the limb to accomodate everyone the best he can when is around. The main attraction and what I enjoy is being able to come and relax in a very clean nice spacious room, with a spectacular view and the smell of sea breeze while I sleep with my patio door open. The place is very safe because its in a nice area that borders Bal harbour, and Keystone. It's also funny that the Whitehouse is always packed and is so peacefull. I consider this place my little hide away for peace and tranquility. PS The room rates are great, it makes you stay longer

I stayed there for 5 days. Couldn't sleep under the covers. Bedspreads and blankets full of holes. Very dirty floors and the last day a giant cockroach appeared on the ceiling. Would not unpack my clothes from suitcase for fear of bugs. When I complained, the Inn offered me an upgrade at an addition $34.95 a night. Not very happy. The view of the bay was fantastic, but that was the only thing positive. Would not stay here again

This hotel or Inn is located in North Miami. It is just over the bridge from Bay Harbor Islands and only a few miles from the beach. I became familiar with this hotel when I was looking for a place for my parents to stay when they come to visit me. I live in Bay Harbor Islands. Many of the hotels in Bay Harbor or in Surfside were overpriced or booked. I went to this hotel and was very pleased. The rooms were nice size with two beds and a refrigerator. There are rooms that are on the canal and the best part is that the price was very reasonable. My parents have stayed there on several occasions and never had a problem or a complaint.
