You get what you pay for

Although this motel is less expensive than others in the area and relatively clean, you have to beg for towels and/or coffee for the in-room coffee maker. We stayed 6 nights and the bed linens were changed the final night only because we left a large note on the pillow asking that they do so. The continental breakfast is "a joke" and should not be advertised on their website. The owner/manager is unfriendly bordering on rude and acts as though he is unconcerned about your comfort or willingness to return which I doubt we will. You truly "get what you pay for".

This is a small, family-run motel. It's not part of any chain, but it has the clean, modern facilities and equipment you'd get in a larger property, together with a considerate, helpful staff.
Our dogs were welcome, which is a big plus.

It is an excellent Mom and Pop establishment, the owners are extremely friendly, the accommodations whilst modest are clean and well maintained. The price is very good value for the money.

old and run down

My husband stayed at this hotel, as there was no availability anywhere else in the area. He stayed in the whirlpool suite, and said that the tub was nice, and there was a new bedspread. However, he said the carpet and furniture were worn to thread bare condition.

His traveling companion was also treated rudely by a man at the desk, who may have been the owner.

Needless to say, they will never stay there again.

I'd never go back

The room was ok. No complaints there! But the owner of this hotel is rude and doesn't know the first thing about customer satisfaction. He's a jerk! I will spend $200.00 a night for a room someplace else before I'd ever return to this place.

Good Reasonable to Stay

If you are looking for a clean, reasonable place to stay, I would recommend it. All of the rooms have a mini-fridge and coffee maker. They offer a small continental breakfast. They don't have a pool, hot tub and lounge/restaurant, but we generally don't utilize these amenities. Quaint Motel style accommodations with minimal amenities. Whenever we stay in Cedar Falls, we stay there.

I needed a cheap place to stay for one evening and this place was the cheapest I could find. It did the job.

Nice Family Owned Inn

My wife and I stay here every time we come to town because we are sticklers for clean rooms and friendly service. The price is hard to beat. The rooms in back building are newer and larger, but if you prefer to save five or ten dollars per night to can take a smaller room in front. The hot tub and ice machine are in back building.

Tramatic !!

pros: close to UNII arranged for family to stay in this hotel, and it left them tramatized to this day. The staff is rude and abusive, and you want so much as an extra pillow you had better find another hotel!
