The hotel is grand and very luxurious. However, be prepared to be nickel and dimed for services which are provided free at every other hotel/motel we stayed at - ($10/day for internet access, $12/day for unsecured parking, etc.). Perhaps the operating costs for a place like this cannot be covered by the basic room rate, so this is how they make up for the difference. The other thing was that although the food at hotel restaurants is excellent, it was also pricey. And, as though to make up for the price, the portions are enormous. Indeed, at our first breakfast the manager confided to us that many people only order a single item and share it. The money on the room was well worth it to avoid the lines in the park. Also, if you haven't already done so, don't miss Halloween Horror Nights. It is totally amazing, although not for the squeamish or those younger than teenagers. The hotel was great except for one problem that I should have taken care of when it happened. Because of the aforementioned Horror Nights, there were many teens, many drunken teens or young adults, at the hotel. They kept us awake all night on Friday. I did tell security the next morning, so they patrolled the halls more the next night. The pool was extremely large with a tropical feel. The pool side grill was great. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Taking the water taxi to the park and to CityWalk is nice and having the express pass to get on the rides without the lines is a plus. The room was really nice and the bed was comfortable.
