The front desk was wonderful. They gave us tips on where to shop and eat and what to see. I would stay there again and again.

The Best Place Ever

I have been going to treasure island for 14 years every since I was born. I really think that treasure island is an amazing place to stay, because it is a lot of fun and there are lots of really cool things to do there, not only for grown-ups but for people of all ages. I know that a couple of members from my family has gone there and they all came back with big smiles on there faces and said that they would really enjoy going back to that wonderful place again. Personally I really love the Bear Foot Bar because they have amazing food there.

Only place I'd stay

I loved the balcony and in room kitchen. In the mornings getting a cup of coffee and sitting on balcony and watching the sun come up and the beach come to life.

I was told they had turned this into condo's after last year's hurricanes. I hope that is not true.

Not for families during Spring Break week - security very lax

Others times have had no problem and very family orinenated.

1 elavator, no TV, watched radio, which was good, got a card to stay again this September and only pay for 2 and get 5.
Unfortunately, this doesn't work.

It was an experience I will never forget

Me and a friend spent our Spring Break Vacation at the Treasure Island Resort, The hotel looked nice from the outside, it had a beautiful Pool Deck, appealing interior (not the rooms)... The first night we were there people decided to play target with the pool and glass beer bottles, next day they had a huge machine sucking the shattered glass out of the bottom of the pool... The security was lax, the police visited the hotel frequently during the night hours, The x-rated Wet T-Shirt contest was GREAT!!! this hotel was definetly for students visiting the Daytona Beach area... Not meant for families... The rooms smelled of mold, the fridge' leaked leaving a pool of water on the rug... the walls neaded painting... but when you spend most of your time on the beach and driving the Daytona Strip and only sleep I guess the accomidations don't really matter, since you get back to your room under the influence anyways and nothing seems to matter at that point... Not a good hotel... Still I will never forget my Vacation to Daytona Beach... LOVED it... I can't help but mentioning that there was a sleezy dult video store and tattoo shop right down the street... thought that was funny...
