The staff are friendly and helpful. The area was in a dark area away from the main street and did not appear safe. Next door a hotel had about 20 gang members running back and forth between rooms. When we got in, no one was working and a note said that our room was upstairs and UNLOCKED! I had to check it out before letting my wife in. She cried when she saw how small and unkept it was. In five minutes the toilet was clogged and I called for help. The maintanence man came and handed me a plunger saying "for your problem!" After complaining, he fixed it himself and said I must have used paper in the toilet! What a concept, using toliet paper in a toilet! In travel around the world, in may places including third world, I never found such an awful place! Beware.
