The hotel has great potential since its located right in Beverly Hills, has some terrific views and some interesting rooms. But unfortunately, i am just giving a passing mark.
You feel first that its due for a reno. The TV is one of those 20inch

The hotel is really old and it shows in the guest rooms. The lobby and facilities look totally renovated, but that failed to translate in the guest rooms. Our particular room looked like a Victoria's Secret changing room with the pink and white striped wallpaper. If you have the mindset like me, where your hotel is a place for you to sleep, shower and keep your things safe, then stay here. But definitely shop around for better deals.Hotel staff was very friendly and the location is on the outer skirts of Bev Hills and close to all the stated neighborhoods. The hotel parking is NOT free, only if you park on the street (good luck finding a spot), so you have to valet it for $26 a day!! On our last day, we received the bill for parking and they only charged us for one day of parking so only $26, but Travelocity shouldn't state there is free hotel parking. If I had known that, I would have stayed elsewhere.

I loved the location. I loved the view

I loved the location. I loved the view. You have to pay $26 a night for parking and there are no other options. Great location within walking distance to many shops and museums. Beds are a little rough, too soft. The rooms are nicely done, but aging and not be kept up the way they should be. There is a beautiful view of Beverly Hills on one side of hotel, very quiet. The other side of hotel you get street noise which is very loud. The staff was very helpful. The bar is highly overpriced!

Staff was friendly.Just wasn't 4 star, nice but kind of worn. I had a great stay but didn't feel that it was a 4 star hotel, perfectly nice but not that extra luxury. Also, the pool was not available.

Just returned from a week's stay at the Tower, and was extremely disappointed that I chose to stay at this hotel. I found the staff at the front desk not only surly, but not up to speed on any activities or excursions that we inquired about. Poorly managed, and it shows. Room overlooked a parking lot, which was quite noisy, especially since they were filming a movie. Could hardly get through Lobby and elevator due to equipment everywhere - not what I had in mind as a paying customer. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great staff, terrific location, great

Great staff, terrific location, great view. Some furnishings getting a bit worn. This was an ideal place to stay for a 1st time traveler to LA. Great location, easy to find, very helpful staff, and very attentive (if not a bit pricey) Valet service. Comfortable rooms (could use a DVD player however instead of a VCR). Did not try the continental breakfast but it looked good for a cold meal.

The hotel was fresh and fun and funky and in a great location for our needs.Did not like that the hotel was not in walking distance to any restaurants or coffee shops. The tower hotel is bright and funky and has a shabby chic decor in the rooms, which made it interesting. The accommodations were comfortable but some of the permanent bed accessories were a little stained. We loved the lobby decor and sitting area, and there were two computers for complimentary guest use, which was very nice. You could also park on the street close by for free, a bonus. We would recommend this hotel to others.

View from 12th story.Paying for

View from 12th story.Paying for continental breakfast w/o seeing the price posted anywhere. Front desk staff was not necessarily welcoming, hotel is currently non-smoking, appears that this is a recent conversion as our floor and room still smelled of old cigarettes. Room was very warm and the control did not seem to work (much cooler in hallway) leaving the patio doors open would not have helped due to the traffic noise nearby. The $26 for valet parking seemed steep but at least the price was posted in the guest book in the room, the $12/person price for the continental breakfast was not posted in the guest book or at the door to the suite where breakfast was served, we were only aware of the charge when the ticket was brought to our table. Bellman/valet was very helpful and nice with directions.

It was a clean, safe, nice hotel within my price range. This is not a 4 star hotel, maybe a 3 star, very quiet area, not much going on Hotel was very clean, staff very friendly and nice. Beds were comfortable. Not a 4 star, more like a 3 star hotel. Very quiet area, not much to walk and go do at night. Recommend having a rental car if you stay at this hotel. Nice breakfast with a beautiful view.
