I have stayed at the Riverhouse many times for a number of reasons and due to the nature of my business one of my highest priorities is to have wireless high speed internet. At the Riverhouse it works great! I love that I can check my e-mails, stay in contact with my family, and get work done. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable and they provide a great work desk with sufficient lighting. The hotel staff is warm and friendly and has always gone out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The Complimentary Hot Breakfast the Riverhouse provides in the morning is sure to start off anybody’s day on the right foot. We heard about this great Bend hotel from a client and decided to try it. In the past, we have stayed at other hotels or motels, I guess you could call them, in the same vicinity. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Riverhouse Resort for the first time. Our business keeps us on the road over 65% of the year, and we usually stay at a chain hotel since it is easy and you normally know what you are getting. Since we stay for at least one week during each trip, we appreciate that they have larger rooms with all the conveniences you would need for a lengthy stay including a great work space. The onsite Business Center has everything you need to keep your business on track. The rooms are clean, well-kept and have a nice, comfortable feel to them. Where else can you work while overlooking the Deschutes River running just outside your balcony? If you need to travel for work, you might as well enjoy it.We never have to go far when entertaining our client’s as the hotel has a wonderful on-site restaurant, The Crossings. The chef is wonderful as is the entire staff. It has been my favorite hotel in Bend for some time, because of the friendly staff, very comfortable rooms and great restaurant. I would not stay any place else. However recently I had to plan a last minute small corporate meeting, something which I had not done before. I called the Riverhouse Resort and for the first time worked with the sales and catering team. I was so impressed with their professionalism. They helped me from soup to nuts and made sure that the event came off without a hitch. I was so relieved and received high marks for a successful meeting. FRIENDLY & CLEAN. I have stayed in many, many resorts and topnotch hotels throughout the United States and none had a more accommodating, friendly and professional staff as what I found at the Riverhouse Resort in Bend Oregon. I just cannot give the management enough credit for how trained their staff is and how effortlessly they handled our business meeting. I was part of a group of over 50+ attendees and the facility was well suited and prepared to handle our needs as a group as well as individually. The convention center is out of this world with all the high tech gadgets you could ask for as well as a well appointed business center. I spent 3 days here and couldnt think of a more wonderful place to be on business. My room was phenomenal, clean; bed was out of this world, pillows were just right, plenty of towels and a roomy bathroom as well. I would absolutely rate the Riverhouse Resort one of the best I have visited in terms of service, staff and accommodations. I would definitely go back again for business and might even plan a romantic Ski vacation with the wife in the near future. If you love outdoor activities this is the place you want to be.
