The rooms aren't gigantic, but they are authentic. Our bathroom had a clawfoot tub with shower hardware. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. It is the perfect location, and is close to everything in the downtown area. From the moment we entered The Marshall House we were beyond taken care of by the staff. They were great with dinner suggestions and calling to make reservations for us. Our room was a King room that was located in the back of the hotel. Even though we did not have a view, we felt like we were in our own private area. There are only 3 rooms in the back of the hotel. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! I wanted to take the pillows home with me! The atrium area is where breakfast is served. It is a very bright and full of beautiful plants. There was a good selection of food, pastries, blueberry muffins, fruit, scrambled eggs, susage, etc. Our anniversary is coming up in a couple of months and we have already decieded to celebrate it at The Marshall House!!
