This adorable inn is conveniently

This adorable inn is conveniently located to lots of the popular shopping and dining places in Naples. The room was clean and comfortable with a small screened in porch and two chairs on the front. On the back side we could park a couple steps out the back door and no walking to a parking lot.The pool area was nice and many guests were having the free continental breakfast poolside.Workers in the office were UNBELIEVABLY helpful! The whole experience was positive. Even my husband liked it, too! We will be back. It would be a great place to take a short vacation and explore the area. Can't say enough good about the Lemon Tree Inn.

Working in the area I could walk to 5th

Working in the area I could walk to 5th Ave and even the 3rd Street area. The staff was so helpful with all my needs. Friendly and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and productive.Every other decent hotel in the area was twice as much. Will return on my next trip. Tip: If you can use a room with a queen bed, ask for one with a screened patio facing the courtyard.

OK if your expectations are set

Expectations setters:
1. This is a motel on a busy road, not an Inn.
2. By absolutely no stretch of the imagination is the Lemon Tree Inn good for a "romantic getaway" as their website suggests.
3. The claims of "Old Florida" are true if you are talking about the campy 50's FL.
4. The bed is comparable to a Motel 6 bed, not a "romantic getaway" bed.

That said, think of the Lemon Tree Inn as a wonderful alternative to a Motel 6 or even a Best Western. The rooms really do have character and there is impeccable service at the front desk, and strangely, there is the best lighting at the bathroom sink I have ever seen in my life. So, yes, I would recommend this as a place to stay overnight because you're in town for a night or two. I wouldn't hang out there during the day, and for my comfort level I wouldn't stay there more than one night. If you can find a Marriott Courtyard in the same price range as the Lemon Tree Inn, by all means go to the Marriott.

Location, rooms and value.May be too

Location, rooms and value.May be too small for some people.“Wonderful surprise, a great location and the room was like staying in a historic bed and breakfast. We had a 4-poster bed, original art work on the walls and the staff was so helpful. We will return to this hotel on our next trip, a very good value for the money.”

Unexpected comfort & service

The location was great and the price was so low we were worried that it not be so nice.
We found we were paying a 2 star price for a 4 star hotel.

The room was like being at home, it was decorated with very interesting original art and we seemed to just relax the minute we walked in.

The staff was very helpful and fun, they gave us great advice about were to go and were to eat.

We could walk to the beach, and the shops and great restaurants on 5th Ave.

It was one of those great unexpected weekend trips.

I reccomend it to everyone who loves small hotels.

I will be back...often!

The Lemon Tree Inn is in a prime location in Naples, right near the 5th Steet Historic District and walking distance from the beach. The rooms are large and clean. The furnishing inside and outside of the hotel, including the chairs, pool, gazebo and gardens give visitors a relaxed and pampered feeling. The staff is great and it is way underpriced. The Lemon Tree in is a reason to visit Naples in and of itself.
