Such an elegant experience. I stayed here while attending a wedding. Yes, it's said to be haunted. I encountered nothing unusual. The bride said she heard children laughing at midnight in the hallway (children aren't allowed in the hotel) which was creepy, but as long as it was her, I'm good with that! First class service and treatment. Definitely a treat!! A must do if you can. The staff is amazing.

Perfect Getaway

pros: Close to Downtown but quiet, Ambience, Amenities, DecorI recently celebrated a birthday in Savannah and took the opportunity to treat myself to a few nights in this B&B. The interior decorating is breathtaking in the Kehoe House. We stayed in the Johnny Mercer room, which is the nicest room in the inn and it did not disappoint. The breakfasts were delicious and the dining and sitting room areas were wonderfully relaxing. The staff were wonderful and all of the concierges were very knowledgable in helping us with directions. The innkeeper also went as far as to purchase and bring in a birthday cake for me on the day of my birthday. It was a memorable experience, and I could not have been happier. Lastly, a major plus was that it was located right in downtown within walking distance to Broughton Street and Bay Street where all the fun shops, squares, and restaurants are. I will definitely be returning soon for my next getaway.

We're never happier or more satisfied than when staying at the Kehoe House. We make a pilgimage there at least once a year for the past 6. Pricey in comparison maybe to other B&B's in town, but you're worth it & so are they.

The Kehoe House is outstanding in every way--hospitality, service, accommodations, amenities, decor/furnishings, food. Located on one of Savannah's famous squares, The Kehoe House is situated in the heart of Savannah's Historic District and within walking distance of excellent restaurants and points of interest.

I have stayed at The Kehoe House four times during the past 10 years, and each time I stay it seems even better than the time before. I recommend The Kehoe House as a place for discerning travelers journeying to Savannah. It is one of my favorite inns in Savannah, and I have experienced each of Savannah's top B&Bs.

This place is simply that...AMAZING! It is talked about on many of the ghost tours...so is it haunted? Some will say yes, others no, but you should definitely stay there and see for yourself! The arquitecture is amazing...all of what looks like carving on the outside of the building is actually cast iron. The man who built it way back when owned a cast iron factory. It's just amazing. If you stay here, you need to learn the history behind it, as well as many other historic buildings around historic downtown Savannah.

Although I've never stayed there, I would highly recommend at least going to see the Kehoe House. The 4-story house has a long history. Mr. Kehoe, an owner of iron mines, built the house for him, his wife, and their children. After they all passed away (some in not so good ways), the house was passed around, and eventually turned into a mortuary. When the mortuary finally closed in the 70s, the house was passed around from owner to owner once againalmost being turned into a disco. Finally, after the neighbors complained about the disco, the house was sold and turned into a bed-and-breakfast. Although all rooms are said the be haunted, 2 rooms in the house actually require you to sign a waiver that you will still pay your bill even if you have to leave in the middle of the night, because so few people make it through the night there. These 2 rooms were once the embalming rooms of the mortuary. If you like ghosts stories, you'll love to stay here. Even though the price is steep, it would still be worth it for a night.
