I encountered several members of the staff from front desk personnel, bellman, to valets. Each one was friendly, respectful, and helpful. The front desk staff is extremely knowledgeable about DC in general. They all seemed to know the Metro routes like the backs of their hands! (The Metro stop is Union Station, only a block away!) The only real complaint I have is that the only on-site restaurant is their Bistro-Bis, which seems lovely but is also very pricy. We ate at the Capitol City Brewing Company, also a block away, which has good beer and burgers. We also ate at Union Station for breakfast and lunch.
